Shipping policy

At Madroots LLC, we carefully pack each plant to help it arrive safely and ready for its new home.

Processing and shipping

Orders normally ship within 3–5 business days, excluding holidays. We generally ship Monday through Wednesday to reduce the chance of plants sitting in transit over a weekend.

If a listing states a specific shipping window, that window applies to your order. Weather conditions or holidays may affect our shipping schedule.

Shipping rates and tracking

Available shipping services and costs are displayed at checkout. Carrier delivery estimates begin after your package has shipped and are not guaranteed arrival dates.

You will receive tracking information once your order ships. Please check that your shipping address is correct and arrange to bring your package indoors promptly after delivery.

Weather protection

Plant health comes first. We may temporarily hold an order when extreme heat or cold makes shipping unsafe. We will contact you if a weather hold affects your order.

Heat packs or additional insulation may be recommended during colder weather. Any additional charge will be disclosed before shipment and requires your agreement. Heat packs help protect plants but cannot eliminate every weather-related risk.

Packaging and arrival

Plants ship in the condition described in their individual listings. Nursery pots are included when stated; decorative pots are included only when specifically listed.

Please unpack your plant promptly and inspect it upon arrival. Some soil movement, minor leaf blemishes, or temporary drooping can occur during shipping.

If your plant arrives with significant damage, please follow the instructions in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Delayed or missing packages

If tracking stops updating, your package is significantly delayed, or it is marked delivered but cannot be located, email madroots@madrootsshop.com with your order number. We will help investigate with the carrier.
